Frequently Asked Wedding Hair Questions
Should I have a hair trial?
Understanding your hair type, length, and any worries you may have about your hairstyle will help me create a look that you'll adore. The trial fee is already included in the total price and is essential for all my bookings.
What happens at the bridal trial?
All of my bridal trials are held at my home address in the Wimborne area. When you arrive, we'll take a look at your hair and go through the styles you want to try. I'd also love to see your dress! We'll start on your first look, and if you're unsure, we'll try different styles until we find your dream look. Once we've found it, we'll go through arrival timings and I'll ask all the relevant questions to make sure we're all set for your big day!

How far do you travel?
I travel anywhere! Whether it's in the UK or abroad. In the UK, I charge 0.50p per mile outside of Wimborne area. For destination weddings, I charge my normal prices as long as flights, accommodation, and transfers are included.
Can you bring a make-up artist?
Absolutely! I work closely with some of the best in the industry. If you need a make-up artist, please send me a message!
How long does it take to get everyone ready?
I require 30-45 minutes per hairstyle and 1 hour for the bride's hair. I work efficiently, but the quality will always be top-notch, even if it takes a bit longer. Your hair will last until late evening, and maybe even the morning after!

When should I have my trial?
I usually recommend having your trial around 3-6 months before the wedding. However, if you've chosen your dress and have a rough idea of the look you want, we can get you booked!

Do you offer any group discounts?
I'm afraid not. My price list is very fair and falls in the middle of the surrounding bridal hair stylists.

Can my mum and bridesmaids have a trial?
Absolutely! It's a great idea for your mum and bridesmaids to have a trial if they're feeling nervous about their hair. This is a separate cost to your trial. If they're joining you for your trial, you should go first to make sure we nail your look before theirs. If there are too many people at one trial, I recommend having yours on a different date so we can focus on your hair. They can also come with you to your trial for support even if they are not having a trial themselves.

What should I bring to my trial?
It would be great if you could bring an idea of what you would like to try, your veil and accessories. If you're considering a hairstyle that requires more hair, I recommend messaging me to order hair extensions. These can cost anything from £70 to £200 depending on what you want. If you already own extensions, feel free to bring them along!

Do you bring an assistant for larger wedding parties?
Yes, I do, but only if I need to or if you want a stylist to stay for the remainder of the time.
When should I wash my hair?
I always advise washing your hair the night before. Shampoo twice to ensure it's super clean and only condition the ends. Please avoid heavy treatments the week before your wedding, as it usually takes a few washes to remove. If you need a blow dry, please have your hair freshly washed the morning of the wedding and wrapped in a towel.

How many people can you style on the day?
I can style up to 10 people on the day.
Will you stay until the very end before I need to leave?
It depends on the size of your bridal party. Sometimes, if I have a small wedding party, I will take on 2 weddings that day. If you want exclusivity, we can discuss this. Either way, I will discuss your veil and show either the mother of the bride or the maid of honour how it's placed in your hair.
